The Brief

The Wine Room came to Bulldog Digital as a start-up - the brief was to build a quirky and different website that reflected the personality of its Australian owner and showcased his organic and biodynamic wines, encouraging customers to visit his new retail premises with the plan to expand and incorporate online transactions in the near future.

The Work

An engaging and unusual content managed website - the challenge of having insufficient imagery available for an urgent launch date was overcome with the use of icons representing wine styles. The blog and news function within the site was given particular prominence as the business owner is also a professional wine writer and runs his own vineyards.

The Result

The website launched in September 2010 and now forms an important supporting role to the retail premises, all of which has consistent branding developed by Bulldog Digital. The Wine Room has experienced consistently high customer footfall and interest since it's opening and gaining both local and national press coverage. Bulldog Digital work closely with The Wine Room to support ongoing marketing.
